Seed stock is an overage of inventory for contingencies. Amazon does not require it but strongly recommends that DSPs have 10% extra inventory to cover lost, stolen, broken mobile devices or an increase in routes. Example: If you plan to purchase 10 devices, Amazon recommends that you purchase 1 extra unit.
